Quick Start
Required Accounts
To use GACHI.ai, you need the following accounts:
- Slack Account - Since GACHI.ai operates on Slack, you need a Slack workspace and account.
- OpenAI Account (API Key) - You need to create an account on the OpenAI website and obtain an API key. This API key will be entered during the initial setup of GACHI.ai.
Installation
Please install from the link below
[Note] If you are not logged into your Slack workspace, you will be redirected to the login screen. Alternatively, please create a workspace to install to and then click the install button again.
[Note] Since the app is currently under review for the Slack Marketplace, you may see a warning: "This app is not approved by Slack. Apps are reviewed to ensure a quality experience." Please note that installation and usage are possible without any issues despite this warning.
Initial Setup
After installation, you need to:
- Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Set up your OpenAI API Key (you can generate and obtain it from here)
Configure these settings from the app's home screen.
Using the Interactive AI Partner
GACHI.AI is an interactive AI bot that operates in Slack. It engages in natural conversations with users like a partner, answering questions, discussing topics, and executing requested tasks.
Let's look at an example: A conversation begins when a user mentions GACHI.AI, and they discuss prime numbers. Note that without a mention, it's treated as a regular Slack thread.


You can use it not only in channels but also in DMs. In DMs, mentions are not necessary.
Specifically, it provides the following main functions:
- Standard generative AI capabilities in a conversational format
- Understanding of Slack thread history, enabling continuous conversations. You can resume conversations from months ago
- Document creation and conversion through conversation, as well as information gathering via web searches and site access
- Utilization of pre-built expert channels and part-timer tasks, leveraging specialized knowledge and executing various non-routine tasks using the latest information obtained from the web
You're not limited to specific use cases. Combined with your ideas, you can create various convenient tasks.
Setting Up and Using Expert Channels
You can set up AI specialized in legal, tax, finance, IT, customer support, and marketing fields in your preferred channels.

In channels where an expert is set, GACHI.AI will engage in conversations as a professional in that field, based on specialized knowledge and experience. From an expert's perspective, it can provide accurate advice and solutions.
Feel free to ask specific consultations or specialized questions about each field. It provides practical support based on real-world applications.


Note: The responses from AI, including expert AI functions, are for reference only. For important decisions, please consult with real experts.
Setup Method
- Select
Expert Channel
from the shortcut menu to display the expert channel settings screen. Alternatively, run the slash command/gachi-expert
- Set an expert for the listed channels and press the save button
- In each channel,
@GACHI.ai
becomes the expert you set. Try asking a question
How to Use Part-timer Tasks
Part-timer tasks are functions that collect necessary information from users based on pre-set prompts and execute specific business tasks.

Currently, the following part-timer tasks are available:

Document Expert | Analyzes and understands documents to become an expert on the document content, accurately resolving questions and inquiries about the document |

Execution Method
- Select
Part-timer
from the shortcut menu to display the part-timer task screen. Alternatively, run the slash command/gachi-parttimer-task
- Part-timer tasks will be listed. Press the [Execute] button for the task you want to run

Settings
You can configure admin users, OpenAI API Key, OpenAI API options, and more.
OpenAI API Key | Required. Please set the API Key to execute OpenAI API. You can obtain the API Key from the OpenAI site |
Admin User | Specify the admin user for GACHI.AI. The default is the user who installed it. Initial setup, expert channel settings, settings screen display, and status screen display are only allowed for admin users |
OpenAI Model | Specify the AI model to use with the OpenAI API. Some models may not be available depending on your OpenAI subscription contract. Currently, gpt-4o is recommended. For detailed explanations of models, refer to the OpenAI site |
OpenAI Options | Specify option values to use with the OpenAI API. These may be ignored depending on the AI model. For detailed explanations, refer to the OpenAI site. If you're unsure, the default values are fine |
Status
Displays the subscription status screen. Only admin users can execute this.
You can check subscription status, number of users, and more.
